Man, my girl can't even be bothered to get out of bed when I get home these days 😂. She just kinda looks at me like, oh you're back 😂. She's 14 and a large breed, so she gets a pass.

But all the same, I cried. Back then, there wasn't a fancy memorial. Just a chain link fence surrounding the site, covered in messages, stuffed animals, T-shirts, etc. from family, friends, and strangers. The fence was eventually incorporated into the permanent memorial.

Our president is a Russian puppet. Our country is an international embarrassment. Billionaires are working to bankrupt the working class. BUT it's a beautiful spring day, and I've got this gorgeous girl by my side. That doesn't make up for all the other stuff, but it does make it a tiny bit better.
