Maybe I could have gotten a full ride or at least close to it - but I never tried. That ship has sailed for the most part. Perhaps someday, if I could do a satellite program that didn't cost $75K+ a year. Logistically, it's not realistic for me to get an MFA and I'm ok with that.

I never tried to apply to get one. I had intended to after a few years for just living and not being enrolled in school. Being poverty level poor and worsening health problems - I ended up never getting around to it.

I can still teach private lessons or K-12 *technically* 😬

It really shocked me. I knew I was really good while I was there and TAing but I had no reference for all his other years of teaching. He was my favorite teacher in college and taught me a lot.

I feel lucky that many of my professors in art and other disciplines were so cool and great instructors.

Looks like y'all had fun! I'm exctied to go to my friend's show tomorrow and hopefully see a few people I haven't seen in over a year+ too.

It gave me the privilege of seeing it from both perspectives - the artist and the model. And I guess the teacher, when I was a teachers aid (for this same professor).

The cam art, even my pet portraits is nothing like my offline/personal art - the demarcation is strong. Yarrow art has been an experiment in cute, illustrative things *usually*... at least in regard to drawing and painting.

I'm bragging this rather publicly because it was really nice hearing this from him and I need to keep myself going. I gotta keep going.

There is no excuse for continuing to logging into a site, chatting up the lovely ladies and not getting tokens at least every full moon or so. The disrespect is real.
