Often times pods will direct you to a list of content warnings on the episode description so that you don't have to list them all or verbally

I'm not even necessarily telling you to change anything. Just giving you the POV of someone who finds content warnings helpful.

But I thought you might want to know the thought process and kind of risk/reward dance I did in my head before doing so 🙂

So the general content warning at the top of your ep was kinda like "food may contain allergens".

Now I'm a "fuck around and find out" girlie so I decided to risk it and hit the quick pause if I started feeling trauma-y

So with content warnings my personal protocol is to avoid content about medical malpractice because I know I'll get a bad reaction to it. But I can hear about things that might upset other people.

I see content warnings as performing the same function as food allergy labels. E.g. if I'm allergic to peanuts I'll avoid food labeled as containing peanuts because I'll get a bag reaction but I don't need to avoid food containing gluten right?

Fresh innovative storytelling though the medium of SMUT! Not erotica, SMUT! Swathes of this tiny book are dedicated to it. i don't want to say any more about the plot except it's audacious and poignant and so very clever.
