Instead of focusing on the hedonistic potential of a time loop, the book spends it's time examining the existential horror of one. Protagonist Tara starts referring to herself as a monster, stalking people and consuming resources.

A bittersweet read.

Solenoid! Most of the first 25 minutes of the book is spent on squikky body stuff. The protagonist has lice and a mysterious belly button defect.

I appreciate this as a way of making him human and vulnerable but the ends didn't justify the means. I'm just not keen on themes through pestilence.
