When will stores learn that this sort of nonsense also forces the customers to also constantly redirect their attention from their task of shopping to play nice with the staff.

All I want from staff is to leave me alone for the most part, but be available to assist if I approach.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

I know it’s too much to expect them to know their history, but if the American Revolution had a motto, it definitely would not have been “immigrants go home.”

It would have been “get your fucking soldiers out of our cities.”
America... boy, I dunno.

2: Every time that they overreact like this, we know that we've identified a new tool for the toolkit.

There is no way that this wasn't the plan the entire time. You don't start tearing it down so wantonly as they were if you are planning on saving any part of it.

Swearing in isn’t some ceremony. You aren’t a member of Congress until it happens. He knows that.

No phones, no staff, nothing.

I had to escort her into the Capitol on Wed bc Capitol police must treat her as a public visitor until she’s sworn in. And solo visitors aren’t allowed during shutdown!
Johnson: "Grijalva should be working for her constituents right now. I don't know what she's doing. I keep seeing their political stunt videos. She should be in her office. She should be working or in the district for her constituents" (Grijalva is not in fact a Rep. b/c Johnson refuses to seat her)

It's always good to see priests who still remember there are *seven* Catholic social principles. Also, that noise you hear is the USCCB screeching to the Vatican and getting back nothing, lol
Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

I shouldn’t have to say this to the Secretary of Health, but that isn’t how clinical studies work.
RFK Jr on Tylenol and autism: "It is not proof. We're doing the studies to make the proof."

Two unknown people gave the bat water before it was tested. They need to seek treatment for exposure to rabies.

Perhaps the perfect example of this is Ezra Klein’s silly eulogy claiming that Kirk was “
