As a recovering Catholic who hasn't seen the inside of church (except weddings and funerals) for 25+years, I never expected to be eager for news about the Pope/Church.

Huzzah, finally in possession of both death certificates and probate appointment. Now the real work can begin.
So my mom passed (not entirely unexpected - 80 with liver cancer) and I am the one in charge of Doing Things and I'm stuck waiting for bureaucracy, to be able to do the important things and this is very frustrating. This part is not on the lists of what to do.

Holy hell, the pneumonia vax has left my arm feeling like a punching bag. That's the only side effect, for which I'm very thankful. But damn.

Ugh. Went cherry picking Friday & now skin on my face & neck is freaking out. Is it birch sensitivity? (I have mild/intermittent issues with raw fruit in that cross-reaction category.) Or does my skin suddenly not like the sunscreen I used in Dec? Either way, time to load up on h1/h2 combo. Bleh

Skipping the sharing of water, after discussing Laman, seems like a miss. But overall, they did a really fantastic job of capturing the essence of those two chapters. Really amazing job.

As a book person not sold on season 1, but grew to appreciate S2, I'm now caught up on S3 & very pleased! They threw plot points in Mat's dice cup & shaken them out a bit differently & it's really working well. Still have quibbles (royal fam) & nervous about next ep but it's really good!
