Just finished Dietland by Sarai Walker - so good! As a recovering dieter so much of the first half of the book was relatable. The second half wove a twisted, delicious revenge fantasy that considers the question of what happens if we put fear into those who have scared us for so long. 4/5 ⭐️ #booksky

January is the real parent trap. You make it through the holidays, which feels like it takes forever. Then, your kids go back to daycare, and suddenly it’s like BLAM! Classroom flu! Then they get better and BLAM! MLK Jr day. BLAM!! Snow day. Can’t a parent just get 1 normal week?
