I enjoy the typical AK activities of fishing, hunting, camping & berry picking, along with beekeeping, rock hounding, gardening 👩🏻‍🌾 & gardening 💨 Haida decedent Edenshaw/Nix

Spent the beginning of the week avoiding social media by running around Homer, Alaska. I found coal, sea shells and cool rocks. As expected, a disappointing return to current events.

I highly recommend pizza in Alaska! Mountain High Pizza Pie in Talkeetna, Alaska is my favorite! Pretty much any pizza in or near Denali park is also good!

Thanksgiving started to sour for me back in 2016. A few years later, I learned the truth. Since then, I’ve slowly tried to learn about decolonizing. My most consistent approach is trying to live a more sustainable and subsistence based lifestyle. I suck at it.
