I have wanted to leave nursing many times, but sitting down and looking at different options keeps me in the game. But I can usually tell when I need a change of scenery. Sometimes it just helps to step back, take stock of where you are, and decide if it's still working.

I bet it would help to sneak an extra holiday in between. Like a Thanksgiving perhaps.

I know! We’re in our last year of being parents to a preteen. Next year they will all be teenagers. It’s some weird slippery slope to them all being adults 😭

Ok I didn't go that hard, but I did set up our extra tv next to the candy bowl outside. A bit smaller screen.

I was very happy to see earlier that your union has a deal worth voting on! Also, your union's raises dictate my union's raises so I was happy to see it be decent. I'm still learning all the weird union things. And hoping that my union doesn't have to also strike.

I’ll head down to the beach and blow really hard and see if I can infect America with a bit of Canada. Or at least, island life Canada. If I go to Alberta I’ll just not breathe at all.
