I love this sweater! It taught me I need to knit both panels at the same time. The second panel came out so tight, I had to rip it out and start over 😀

Personally, I usually undo to the stitch. It looks like you may have missed a thread on your hook, causing the snagged look. If you cut it, stray threads may keep popping up.

I think I may have learned it that way. When I set out to do it, that was the visual pattern in my head. I’m going to have to try your method now to see what my mind prefers…fun little puzzles, thanks for sharing!
