Speak of the devil. Can't believe the only movie ever made with a Gremlins 3 reference arrived the same day they announced Gremlins 3. Also I bought Pulse for a third time.

Also the ending is so dumb I questioned my own perception for a minute. Imagine if The Ring ended with the MC figuring out how to survive the curse, but then just rewatching the video for no reason instead of doing the thing.

That is to say, characters approaching each other in the most startling way possible for no reason. The movie even makes fun of it at one point: "Everyone stop doing that!" But then it happens a few more times. I counted NINE by the end. Any number greater than one is unforgivable.

I find myself thinking about Rasetsu no Ken/Soul of the Samurai all the time lately. It's pretty neatooo

Oh, I know: Doing it siphons some of the souls into an unseen stockpile. Do it enough times and then do Summon Spirit to launch a gigantic soul ball at the Granfaloon to kill it. Then all the souls form a cloud that says 恐縮です before dissipating. Something for the sequel (SOTN ~2nd Movement~).

If anyone's looking for a sick kanji tattoo idea, you can't go wrong getting TERROR on one hand and SHRINK on the other. Then you can just do this at your coworkers to express your humble gratitude
