There is an emphasis on building structures parallel to and competing with the state, which can work in its absence. I also don't think you'll find many anarchists opposed to exerting force against violent enemies of a more just world. Neither I think anarchists are naive, but we get that a lot XD

As an anarchist, I'm also never super excited about early anarchist theory. But foundational anarchism is not all that is. I think there are plenty of misunderstandings around. In anarchist circles, for example, the revolution is not in the future; it's a present thing. Happening every day.
