People check out the Rise Memorial Garden in Kelowna before and after opening ceremonies today. The garden is dedicated to the five people killed in a crane collapse four years ago - Brad Zawislak, Cailen Vilness, Eric Stemmer, Jared Zook and Patrick Stemmer.

Ceremony today marks 67th anniversary of bridge collapse. "On June 17, 1958 two spans of the Second Narrows Bridge, then under construction, collapsed into Burrard Inlet, killing 19 men in what remains the worst industrial disaster in Vancouver's history." (Canadian Encyclopedia)
