I felt Threads was an upgrade but was soon disappointed as it got filled with spam, bots and too many news pages just posting clickbait celebrity news. Hopefully, the bsky team will be moderate the app well and keep the misinformation at bay.

Can you upload the same blog to both Medium and Substack? Won’t that be detected as plagiarism? I read somewhere that Google’s algorithm can detect duplication and can cause issues.

The app version has Dark Mode I believe. And is Substack better? Does it have all the features you mentioned?

Thank you for your insight. I’m still figuring out what I want to write about so I think I’ll learn a lot from it but I do want to stay on it long term and engage with the community. Is that not possible there anymore?

Damn this is not what I wanted to see after just joining Medium. I’m trying to shift away from my Instagram account and create meaningful connections with likeminded people. Do you have any suggestions?
