HONESTLY THAT SCENE IN S2 EP1 IS VERY TELLING, with the clip of Val hitting Angel. The fact that Vox remembers and has a compilation ready, and laughs about it, versus the fact that Val DOESN'T remember— and doesn't laugh at it, just teases Vox about being obsessed with him. IT SAYS A LOT.

It holds different weight to me because from what we see onscreen, Val's treatment of Angel is out of anger and possessiveness, and Vox's treatment of Angel is out of violent hatred

Obviously they're both bad because they both result in Angel getting hurt, but personally I think the latter is worse
