I probably shouldn't be as amused by this sketch as I am. After getting Pen's Marriage mod, I dragged him everywhere as a form of community service (except on Sunday, mandatory church counseling). I imagine many Sandrockers were unhappy with this. Poor Logan.

Took a break from anatomy to practice my sketching process & style. Also trying to incorporate better emotion. It's still hard to see the forms in line art. Starting with color blobs is easier for me.
I got frustrated by proportions and shaded a skull 😅. Shading pleases my brain.

Getting better at art is slow when you still have to adult. I still need to use references so I'm brushing up on the fundamentals. Even tho it's digital I still like the look of pencils.

My pfp is a lighting study blending a reference image and my MTAS builder. Looking back, I find it interesting how the values changed. I wasn't planning on coloring it, so from v3 to v5 the skin tone gets darker to make it not as abrasive when tiny. #art #lightstudy

Losing the battle against perfection as I try different styles for hair. Would have helped if my reference wasn't in that dark stairway. 🤦
Every time I look at the reference sheet I think "Babe, why do you keep giving me hats?"
