It’s a very inexpensive and easily stored protein source for both the vegetarians and the poors :)

I was shopping for a hummingbird feeder for a gift earlier this year and almost all of them bragged that they were bee-proof!

I had an interesting side effect when I first went on Wellbutrin where after a couple of weeks it was like food lost all the special connections in my brain.
Like homemade Mac and cheese was just made out of ingredients instead of being the distilled essence of comfort.

I think it’s also called “TVP” - texturized vegetable protein - and can often be bought by the scoop in health food stores/coops.
You can buy it in different flavors, too - like ham or sausage.

I don’t think so, but I could definitely be wrong.
It is my understanding that they work by physically slowing digestion so that you have to moderate your intake heavily or bear the pain and vomiting as well as doing some sort of hormone magic that makes you feel full/not crave.

When I lost half my taste right down the middle of the tongue due to Bell’s Palsy (…3 times…) I found myself eating mostly for texture (raw green peppers) and nutritional impact vs effort (soup).

I’m not excessively visually impaired- just have to wear very strong glasses - but I really value the context that can be added with alt text as well.

Very true. The whole Scion line was marketed as ‘no pressure, no haggle, no extra fees’ and aimed at first car buyers and seniors with limited income.

It was very reliable and loved before that… though I did change the oil.
