Last, and Latest: Halloween Design Festival 2025

This is another one I cluttered a lot, but it paid off! Again, similar idea to Chocolate Egg and Sanctuary: I try to make each corner its own little area, part of the bigger picture. But, this time it had more haunted house themes.

Fourth: Sanctuary Design Festival 2025

This one I did overclutter 😂
I think I filled in 99% of the available space. I tried to do something similar to my Chocolate Egg design; an outdoor park, but this time making it more jungle/forest/savanna themed

Third: Groovy Birthday Party 2025
Votes: 483

This is my design with the most votes!

Again, I didn’t want to overclutter it.

In this one, I made 4 distinct areas: a Band/Dance area, a Chill/Hangout area, a Birthday area, and the Ferris Wheel.

The Ferris Wheel acts as the main focal point. 🎡

Second: Chocolate Egg Design Festival! 2025
Votes: 106

This one has by far the least amount of votes out of any of my designs, but this one is probably my favorite.

I tried not to overclutter it and I wanted it to look like a park in Spring around Easter. I think I nailed it! 😁🥕🐰

Overall, it was fun to play through once, get all the trophies, and watch others play it. I really love the character and the world they can make around him, and this game probably added a lot to the minimal lore, but it could have done so much more too.

And ugh oh my god the farm level in Slender is… slow. It is honestly probably my favorite level, but my big gripe with it is the medtroidvania-esque-ness of it: getting key items to back track far and open the next area. It just takes awhile and those backtracking parts aren’t scary or tense.

Also, the level design and world-building of Outlast is impeccable 👌

In Slender, you’re always unsafe, which makes it normal, which takes away the scariness of it.

I think of Outlast, a similar style of first person POV horror game where you need to collect key items to advance. The biggest difference gameplay-wise is being able to hide from enemies. It adds this layer of skill and unpredictability. “Will he find me? Am I safe?”

But also, the gameplay isn’t very engaging due to the lack of skill necessary to succeed. Running around and collecting pages/generators is very easy. But I think because your only option is running, I don’t think it creates a lot of tension.

The 8 Pages was surprisingly harder than Into the Abyss 😂

I also expected the game to be longer.

I also didn’t find the games super scary, mostly because I watched a bunch of YouTubers play it over the years.

My friends I was with said their sandwiches were okay :/

Next time I’m in ATL I’m definitely going to try them again, because I feel it would be unfair to give them a full review without having tried their namesake dish!

Anywho, do you have a favorite Michelin restaurant in Atlanta? Let me know!!!

Oh, and that biscuit on my plate? Not gluten free!! Why even give me one?? I wish they had just knocked a couple of dollars off my tab instead of giving me a non-gf biscuit.

So, I settled for a chorizo omelette, which was good! Not the best, but it’s also not what I was in the mood for.

I asked if I could add potatoes to it, and they said “Idk if we can do that…” 😐

Really? You can’t just add it to the omelette??

Oh well, it was still good. The hot coffee was okay.
