You’re welcome! Blaming candidates for the choices of voters is pretty thick skulled and convenient and requires no work or introspection from the person doing it :)

Anything but blame the voters lol.

It’s a talent to see approval numbers like these and think ‘hm, how can I blame Democrats for this?’

I believe since that is on the same ballot as the midterm primary it cannot take effect until 2028 but I could be wrong.

What do they mean ‘weakening’ as though it’s going from strong to weak. It’s weak.

When your being gay is dominant in the relationship.

lot of thoughts about this - I have the same fear, but I also think that both female nominees we have had were both on the tail ends of their bosses administrations, and had to defend him and be the ‘change’ candidate against Trump. Country will be in a very different place in ‘28. We’ll see.

I really hope Sherrill overperforms.

Feels very reasonable !

Really feels like 10 is starting to be the median in a lot of these polls. I really hope Sherrill can pull out 6-8.

I hear you. Pete is curious to me - I like him a lot and it seems he is one of the Democrats with actual positive favorables - but I really think this country is deeply bigoted. I dunno.

Same goes for Shapiro on a slightly lesser scale re: being subject to bigotry.

I’m keeping my mind open.

Beshear def needs to step it up if he wants a chance, agreed. I don’t think Pete is a kind warrior though. He’s been swinging lately.

I worry about his ability to stand out in a primary. He’s very measured and rather emotionless, and people are gonna be angry angry angry.

But bringing the rust belt back to Obama margins would be a dream come true.

Narrative dominance requires a media willing to propagate truth, and we don’t have that.

I was at this rally !

Got it. I think she won as the anti-Lake candidate, but that was with a Dem POTUS. I’d think that the current environment and her job performance would maybe help her? But obviously not an expert.
September 30, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Why bearish on Hobbs? It’s a Trump midterm and she’s done a fine job has she not?
September 30, 2025 at 3:35 PM
But what does this mean for Hobbs? 😔

Technically 21 points

A roughly 9.5 swing to the left occurred in the GA special tonight too even though the Dem lost as expected.
