they voted for all of this and they knew they voted for all of this.

i’m not forgiving.
“I voted for none of this."

Prominent influencers, including Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz, are starting to distance themselves from the president they helped propel to the White House.

The median voter says this shutdown is the Republicans’ fault (true) but that they’re handling their own shutdown better than Dems (false) but also worse than Dems (true) and neither are handling it as well as Trump.

But I was told over and over and over again that the reason Harris lost is because she had no policy and that joy wasn’t a campaign strategy!!!

Blaming the Democratic Party leadership is the easy way out. This is damning of the voters.

People in the Democratic Party are just looking for reasons to be divided. Seeing how people are misrepresenting kamala’s book is disappointing and concerning

The fact that only 51% of people in this country think this is bad is beyond damning of our population.
"Do you consider it to be acceptable or unacceptable for Donald Trump to direct AG Pam Bondi to investigate his political opponents?"

All:
Unacceptable: 51%
Acceptable: 30%

Acceptable Among:
GOP: 60%
IND: 23%
DEM: 6%

Imagine if Richard Nixon had just tweeted out the Watergate scandal rather than putting it on secret tapes.

That’s what this is.

Oppose: 21%

Oh look, Nina Turner back to her usual both sidesing.
The Epstein list is, more than likely, bipartisan.

Notice that both administrations are failing to drop the list.

These politicians will try to get the people to fight each other by fanning partisan flames.

Nah. We the people ain’t going for it.

In a normal time, this would be a breaking story on every major news source.

I assure you, if this was happening under Dem leadership, NYT would have written 117 articles about it already.

Instead we have a mainstream media that is incapable and needs to be burned to the ground & rebuilt.

I've tried to let go of as much of my 2024 Election anger & resentment but Lord do I feel this one in my core....

It's not a politicians job to inspire you. Vibes are stupid and shouldn't matter at all.

The voters are the problem 99% of the time. The choice should have been crystal clear.
“Dems need to give me something to vote FOR. Simply not being a probable pedophile running against the adjudicated rapist and probable pedophile is NOT enough. It’s Dems’ fault I stayed home and didn’t try to stop the rapist from getting elected. Duh!!”

Only Democrats have their language broken down into neat little silos like this in the media - which is 100% intentional and done to make us look disingenuous and like everything out of our mouths is pre-planned.

The media is evil.
Whether it’s Trump’s new tone or Democrats’ new tone, there’s a new tone in both parties.

One thing I do worry about is, so many on here spend so much time shitting on elected Dems that, come midterms, people we need to come out to vote won't because they think there's no point

I really wish people would direct more of their ire towards the ACTUAL people causing the problems

things I need all Internet people to absorb ten years ago - the complex reality of what we are experiencing cannot be boiled down to an analogy like this.

knife fights aren’t won by public favor. and if spectators take away your knife mid-fight, you are on defense.
Thing I need all Dems at every level to absorb yesterday: if someone pulls a knife on you, you are in a knife fight, whether or not you want to be

I think one of our greatest dilemmas in the age of social media is too many well-intentioned folks have decided to let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Our rights will continue vanishing if we keep immediately tearing down people *on our side* who are trying to do the right thing.

Hands down the most exhausting thing on here is the number of people who are more angry with Dems for not stopping stuff that….can’t be stopped, than actually mad at Trump & the GOP for doing the awful shit.

I really hope a lot of y’all get over that eventually. It’s tiring.
