Denver's mayor told @citycastdenver.bsky.social that a police captain was shot by an "anti-migrant activist" who intended "to shoot up" a migrant shelter. One problem: A police investigation found no evidence to support that claim.

Nice writeup from @kyle-a-harris.bsky.social . I'd add that a main reason city officials are considering just removing parking requirements entirely is that the state law requires nearly that anyway, and removing the requirement entirely would be cheaper to administer.
