A hound with a wet head is not a happy hound. Tail down walk today, and no sniffs to be found as they’ve all washed away. Poor Jack.

Our cases were returned to us yesterday but I couldn’t unpack until this evening (cos out gallivanting last night 😁)
I’m always relieved to be reunited with luggage but this was next level. I actually kissed my Florence Marathon medal - of all the contents, this was what I wanted back the most! ☺️

I’m always relieved to be reunited with luggage but this was next level. I actually kissed my Florence Marathon medal - of all the contents, this was what I wanted back the most! ☺️

Two days since returning from holiday and we are being spammed by British Airways overnight asking for more details about what is in our missing cases, despite being informed yesterday that our cases were on a flight arriving at Heathrow.
After a very interesting couple of attempts at landing at Gatwick yesterday we got kicked off the plane in Amsterdam in the end! Still, at least we had a delicious brunch this morning at Blushing. Let’s try and get home today, shall we? 🤞

I’m bottling up that last feeling of warm sun on my skin and the sound of the gentle waves. Lanzarote has been utter relaxation.

More wonderful BCN touristing - the Basílica de la Sagrada Família was so much more than I thought it would be, and then the views from Montjuïc Castle topped it all off. Visit if you haven’t!

Florence Marathon…what a race! Scenic and flat, and a lovely medal too. However I have learned today that flagstones are so much more unforgiving than even tarmac - ouch 😬😄

Spending any amount time in a hospital waiting area is one of my least favourite things to do in the world. It’s four days until I run a marathon I have waited four years to run … what could possibly go wrong?
