30%? Yeah, nah. Maybe for exceptional service. I generally give 20% if it's sit down and a couple bucks, or a keep the change if it's pick up. It's absolutely out of control though and we should just pay our servers a livable wage and bake it into prices like the rest of the civilized world.

Seems like the kind of thing The Atlantic might want to drop the paywall for. But as with all American media, the clicks are always the most important. That's how we got here.

threw a bomb into my and my family's life. It's been only 3 months. Everything has changed. The media's reaction to Biden's diagnosis is both shocking and unforgivable. Cancer hits far to many families for anybody throwing insults and inuendo to claim ignorance.

I don't have a "cancer family", I am patient zero for mine. From likely benign and 6 monthly mammograms showing no change to doubling in size and invasive in one cycle. The speed in which my grade 1 "non-aggressive" cancer took its path while maybe not shocking to the medical community...
