This is it. This is where Ted Wilson compares his own ass to Elisha and informs us that it was good that bears ate Elisha's hecklers. I remind you that his Church was founded on the belief that the Pope is evil, in part because of the reverence SDAs think is demanded for him and his position.

if the term ishah nebi'ah is a redactional accretion, what sort of religious office (replete with oracular, juridical authority) did Deborah hold in the pre-Deuteronomistic tradition? As some commentators on the book of Judges have noted, a feature in Deborah's identification-that she is the "wife of Lappidoth"-could carry an earlier meaning deliberately obscured by the scribe. The Hebrew earlier meaning word lappidoth means "flames," and some suggest that the phrase originally was understood as "Deborah, a fiery woman," i.e., a commanding figure with a fiery personality. Yet mythological lore in Israelite religion often associates YHWH's warrior characteristics with fire, lightning, and other combustive phenomena (Hab 3:5: Ps 29; Exod 19:16-19; Deut 5:4-5), and the ancient tradition in Judges 5 plays upon this mythological lore in its depiction of the battle involving Deborah and Barak as well (Judg 5:15). This mythic dimension survives in the narrative notice of Judges 4:4: the association of Deborah with lappidoth may have initially connected her character to the mythological realm as a numinous figure with oracular power. In this case, just as the Deuteronomistic redactors repackaged Samuel's Levitical role as primarily prophetic in nature, they have done the same here with Deborah, casting her in a manner identical to Huldah (replete with a named "husband"). As with the shaping of the Samuel tradition, this is a late literary flourish, an attempt to galvanize disparate sacral legacies into a united prophetic front for the benefit of a readership at temporal distance to the events depicted in the narratives.

When I think "money changers" I don't automatically think "Jews". I think of those dickheads at the bank or airport taking 6-8% of my travelers checks when I need cash in another currency, and it's not a far stretch to assume that humans being humans, have repeated the same bullshit through history. You, however, apparently DO think of Jews. I'm sorry, WHICH one of us is doing the stereotyping, again?? I'm pretty sure a distrust of bankers, loan sharks, corporate entities, and other people who are in a position to (and, too often, DO) take financial advantage of others, which is a worldwide, universally human problem irrespective of ethnicity, is not inherently anti-semitic.

Even if you assume the gospels are accurate wrt Jews (and you absolutely should not), they don't implicate Pharisees or Jews generally. This is deicide libel, and it's one of the oldest and bloodiest examples of antisemitism.
Me: The number one Pharisaical principle is "Pikuach Nefesh." Nearly anything can be bent or bypassed to save a life, and the value of life extends to the he quality of that life, including justice. Don't rely on anti-Jewish Christian polemics for information about Jews and Judaism. @sabrielzannvt.bsky.social : I don't man, I don't think Jesus's life quality went up being falsely accused, imprisoned, scourged and crucified. Same could be said for the victims of the Inquisition or Christians and Muslims who died during the many, many Crusades.
