I went cold turkey and switched to affinity. It took some getting used, but I'm a convert. If you can stop yourself from comparing it to Illustrator you'll have no regrets. It also feels much smoother and less buggy than Adobe apps. Not to mention they're not extorting / gaslighting their users.

I'm not sure that any designer (even a bad one) could bring themselves to commit such an atrocity. I know you can break the rules, but that's... that there is something else...
