A few mockups of stencil layout designs for the bike. Still not sure if I want the main Carrera logo in the standard horizontal orientation on both sides of the main downtube, or a single vertical logo along the underside of the tube.

I use mine mainly for primer, pre-shading, base colours and intercoat/top clearcoats on models etc. They're perfect for those jobs!
I did this as a test piece with a cheap airbrush set from Amazon last year, budget airbrushes have come a long way since I first started!

So here it is, not my first choice of bike as Carrera is more of a budget brand and has some build quality issues.
However, it looks like a pretty new model, with tapered head tube and hollow BB etc, so it's a good platform to buy better parts that I can then swap to a different frame later! #MTB

I'm taking advantage in the drop in temperature to print off a few more sections of the new Gunpla display for test fitting. Roof sections are proving to be a little more of a challenge, but things are cracking along nicely so far! #3D #B3D #3DPrinting #Gunpla #Scalemodel

Thanks! The whole concept is based on the early days of Mars exploration and development so everything is a bit rough around the edges. Things get a lot more industrial on the surface! :)

Only X, but that's because their moderation algorithm is garbage and keeps labelling accounts as being suspicious and it's a different screen I get with that one. With blender market/superhive I get this one.

Detailing and texturing will come later. I still need to design the access from the pod to the central core, but I'm a lot happier with this design being more usable than the previous one.

Habitation pods have been redesigned!
It was bugging me that the previous pods had no way to orient the interior for a braking burn and still giving artificial gravity. The new design has the pods able to rotate to achieve this! #3D #B3D #Blender #ConceptArt #SciFi #Art #Mars

I've had a few Giant bikes in the past, really good bikes and worth upgrading too.
It looks in a lot better condition than the best of the bunch from my recent search, entire drivetrain is toast, so are the forks and brakes, but it could be a nice project for £40!
