Introduce yourself with 5 animals you have seen in the wild

Moose (with two young)
Grizzly cub
Roosevelt elk
Mule deer
Fox

The yearling grizzly cub was up close and no joke. I did not stick around to see how far away Momma was, whacked the throttle open and got out of there quick.

had a navy blue 1990 model (but with the analog dash) as a young man and I adored that car. Always wished it had the amazing digital dash i’d seen in the car magazines tho

Not Jewish, but appreciative of you posting for us to read and reflect

Unfortunately, it’s more like a very thin layer of jam everywhere you go there. Just the average everyday xenophobia gets pretty wild in those parts

I have a deep and abiding passion for the 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme model. My mum had one with the V6 in burgundy and it was the first proper road tripper I ever drove.

Naught but lack of parking space is what has stopped me from picking up a convertible version a couple times now

I always enjoyed the album and it was just another album of the era. The real revelation for me was how much my daughter loves that album. The kids are alright

Generally speaking, surpriseing amount of the fundie clergy are totally okay with violence being done to less-fundie clergy. Near academia levels of hair-splitting and gnat straining to justify takes like “Seattle and Portland should be bombed for their sins”

My wife suggests a good set of saddlebags for animal and human first aid kits and an oilcloth overcoat, but I think you already talked about the latter

Every other day digging my car out of the 5 inches of snow in the apartment building parking lot that didn’t get plowed is what got me. Most of an hour of extra work in order to go to work.

While I miss Upstate NY in many many ways, this measuring snow in feet thing is exactly why i moved to Seattle

This is the Seattle Way

Oof. Thank you. Iroquois County was Home growing up, and i remember being told as a small fry not to go play in the big soybean and feed corn mounds. Not that I listened all that well.

I mean, he’s been coaching for twenty years now, but I’m sure he can still swing a pretty mean bat 😛

You would think this wouldn’t apply to Seattle, but no, enough SoCal folks up here that I take the bus to work for the first couple storms.

That’s how I feel about the Cheese aisle in a Wegmans. ❤️

Sub Pop. Still in an old brick office building downtown

I regret only that i have one like to give for this. I walk past their offices every day and that label has so much Seattle history baked into it. ❤️
