Saw and loved Sinners, can’t stop thinking about it, and about Ryan Coogler’s brilliant deal to retain final cut rights and own the film again in 25 years. Love seeing artists have control over their work!

FFS. We need a new term for this because AI “creative writing” is nothing but a kaleidoscope of regurgitation. I have no interest in writing without a human soul behind it.
The new OpenAI creative writing bot's "short story" has the phrase "democracy of ghosts". It's the sort of phrase that would make me stop and admire it, if I were reading a human author - which, it turns out, I was, because it's from Nabokov's 1957 novel "Pnin".
