NPR’s Frank Langfitt visited KSUT recently and filed this great story on Tribal Radio and how we’re weathering federal funding cuts.
The proposed measure, if it makes it onto the ballot and is approved by voters, would make it a felony to possess any amount of the substance, which comes with a mandatory prison sentence of eight to 32 years. Currently, a person commits a felony if they possess over four grams of fentanyl.
