My name is Kay, I go by any pronouns. I'm a pro-choice atheist who believes that all people deserve human rights and decency. I do not tolerate any bigotry, bullying or harassment towards others. I did some calculations, and I think that anywhere between 300-400 dollars will be enough for the next month or so (if my husband benefits can come through end of Jan). They didn't let my husband resign because it was during an investigation. They dismissed him yesterday. He will get his paperwork on Wednesday, but it's going to be a while until any of that money comes through. I can see he's taking it really hard too, even though he's applying for work each day.

So, unfortunately, he had to resign. He's already applying for work. It wasn't an easy choice, but being fired would have meant he would struggle even more to find work again. We're both exhausted, this year has just been one struggle after another 💔

I'm struggling financially and trying to make ends meet until my bf can find work or until I can find another part time job that still allows me to homeschool my 7th grader. The job market here is abysmal and our SNAP benefits that we were approved for haven't come in yet.
