I did not make the squash. I did not miss the squash.

The stuffing and gravy were fine, but I know what I'm capable of and they were not that. We'll get 'em next year.

Honestly it's just a bottle! My sister's MIL got it for me. But there was a bar my husband and I used to go to that served their sweet potato fries with a raspberry dipping sauce, I saw the bottle of glaze and got curious, and the rest is history.

The crumble sounds amazing.

Probably not the squash, honestly.

Oh, finally my sister (his mom) was like, "little dude, you can't cook, we're having grilled cheese and tomato soup."

This reminds me SO much of my nephew. He is obsessed with animals and conservation. When Jane Goodall died, he was very upset, so I agreed to have the same vegetarian dinner as him (3 states away) on the same night as a tribute. He spent two days planning the menu. He's 6.

I would do the opposite! I don't like egg nog but it's a great ice cream base! Churn it!

Well he wasn't the assistant manager then, but he is now. And it was during the first act of Mamma Mia.

Seth Moulton would call for his own mother to be set on fire if he thought that was the politically advantageous position. Has he mentioned his military service yet today?

Little bit in the Merrimack Valley (this is with my camera on night mode; naked eye was meh)

Only good idea here is calling it Trumpcare, because that disaster should stick to him like dogshit to a shoe.

Are they afraid of winter?

I guess by motivator I should have clarified that I meant that was a way to get someone to do something they weren't super inclined to do. But sure, guilt vs shame is reasonable. I have a friend who argues for pity as a reason too.

I have a working theory that, broadly speaking, shame (you feel bad) and bribery (you get something) are the only two real motivators for adults.

Does he think the C stands for Chinese?

I've known one of those people since we were 6 years old and I will say 2 things. First, I was DELIGHTED to open this app and see her face and then text her a screenshot of it. Second, she's not messing around on this. She's been working her butt off on this stuff for years.
