“The Conjuring Meets Little Women,” my original inspirations for “The Demonologists’ Daughters.” We got to visit the Orchard House on our trip to Concord. The Alcott family lived there from 1858-1877. Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women” is set there and Greta Gerwig’s film version was shot there.

We decided to take “The Demonologists’ Daughters” out for night on the town in Boston. We ended up in a spot that has a special place in my main character’s heart. Because, you know, sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.
