5/ The bill cuts the help middle income Americans get to buy health care on the Affordable Care Act exchange.

A 60 year old couple making $85,000 (not a king's ransom) would see a $26,000 increase in health care premiums. Yes, that's right - $26,000.

We need to celebrate the wins. ✨

Wisconsin’s Supreme Court just struck down an 1849 anti-abortion, anti-woman law. ⚖️

Also a reminder: state and local elections matter. 🗳️ Wisconsin elects a new Supreme Court judge this November.
Wisconsin Supreme Court strikes down state's 1849 near-total abortion ban
Abortion providers in the state resumed the procedure in 2023 after a judge ruled that the 176-year-old ban was superseded by a more recent law.

Crowds one deep at Trump’s “Perade,” with the other side of the street almost empty. Any Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans would fold in shame if it got crowds this small and lame.

And at Mardi Gras, Kings are welcomed!
It’s 6:04 p.m. in D.C., and we have parading. Crowd has filled in a bit at the route front, but mainly one deep along Constitution Avenue.
