If I ever publish a book, this is the photo I want on the jacket.

Speaking of picturesque, Warriston Cemetary is magical.

This is a very picturesque city. The sun definitely helped.

Who would have thought it would be raining in Edinburgh at the tail end of October?

It's still nice. Just wet.

Saw this dog on a walk today.

I think it's doing a stealth cosplay of Naruto.

So how long until Jeff the Land Shark makes it to the MCU, where he will be a 'realistically depicted' CGI monstrosity that captures nothing of his comic-book charm?

On a related note, rebrickable.com is an amazing resource for occupying a child with the same Lego set over and over again.

Not surprisingly, the Creator sets seem to have the most alternate builds available. This here duck began as the 3 in 1 parrot. It was an axolotl at one point.

Pretty much the Platonic ideal of a Sunday with my soon to be 4yo, an outing in the park enhanced by picture perfect weather followed by helping him with a custom Lego set.

...and asked why this man was angry.

And boy oh boy, do I not want to explain to a 4yo why HP Lovecraft was angry.

A story in two skeets.

My (almost) 4-year old saw me reading Avengers Academy.

At this panel, he asked 'daddy, why is this man angry?', so I said he's startled.

And so my 4yo went to the bookshelf...

Trials of Fire is an amazing mix of boardgame, deckbuilder and turn based tactics.

34. Witches Abroad, Terry Pratchett
