Longitudinal is a type of observational study. This sounds like cross-sectional, another type, for expediency. Cross-sectional makes sense across different populations (under 50 vs over 50), but years put from surgery longitudinal is the way to go.

I'm a therapist, and I would hate to be considered to be doing conversion therapy because a parent or medical provider isn't doing the right thing. It is awful what's being done, and I'm hoping those individual therapists are doing like I am and how my own therapist is doing to get them through. 2/?

I think conversion therapy is a bit much. Causing medical detransition, absolutely! Therapy without medical transition is on a case by case basis absolutely not enough. 1/?
