there's some kind of cosmic prank happening where i truly think coin-counting and shopping is not very fun in TTRPGs, and yet both the relative success of HARDCASE and my joyous experience with OVER/UNDER speak to the power of games that are basically nothing *but* economy, mechanically. odd!

Here's probably my favorite non-joke quote as Denk Fontaine I wrote in all of #OVER/UNDER. It totally bore out to be true as well - most of us thought far worse of each other than any of us actually were. Lots of paranoid scheming and little malice in the back half of the game especially.

#over/under is inspiring. I wanna try and create a SMALL (10-20 players) discord PBP Mothership game. Any wardens interested in collabing? I'm exploring the idea of a scouting mission to a habitable (but dangerous!) frontier planet. If they don't die, it could scale with more players arriving later.
