Unfortunately, I didn't like much about #Superman '25.

But you know what I LOVE about it?

I LOVE the excitement it has brought to fans, old and new. Every Superman is someone's first and somone's favorite, like it always has been & always will be. Whatever brought you to him, I'm glad you're here.

A new #Superman trailer just dropped and I am shielded from overreactions of both the positive and negative sorts.

I have no idea what this new movie will be. This is an exciting feeling.

Is this heaven?

Wonderful first image.

And now begins the arduous task of avoiding future marketing.

See you in July?

Look up.

What I love about Kirby's portrayal of Miracle and Orion is that it's not about nature Vs nurture

Orion's nature is evil, but being shown kindness while growing up meant he was good. Scott was raised in hell but his good nature prevailed

Evil is not the equal of Good

This is an underrated element of the finale. They were able to imbue an empty character (by design) with such humanity.

The finale of #SupermanAndLois was top-notch.

Generally, I found the show to be pretty uneven, but it never faltered where it counted -- its title characters. It's only appropriate that it landed with them.

"Kandor was every snow globe and music box that stood for every bittersweet memory in every movie there would ever be.

Kandor was the tinkling voice of a lost world, a past that might have been, unreachable.

Kandor was survivor's guilt endowed with new meaning."

All I want for Christmas is to feel Satan's presence in the theater.
“It reminded me of being a child and seeing the original ‘The Exorcist’ and feeling as if I was seeing a documentary record of evil, one that was itself cursed, and that I should not even be looking at, because I ran the risk of releasing that evil into the world.” www.rogerebert.com/reviews/nosf...

The early years of Putin were filled with little anecdotes like this. Satirists that previously held court started to see industry contacts disappearing from their rolodex as culture at large felt where the wind was blowing. No official diktats, no goon squads, just a lowering pall of discomfort.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of “The Apprentice”, but the fact that publicists wouldn’t allow other actors to do “Actors on Actors” with Stan is a great illustration of the chilling effect of Trump’s second term.

It’s a very different climate.

Critic screenings I’m attending keep ending in trash all over the floor and seats.

I’m going to make it my presidential platform that if you’re invited to a free screening with free concessions as a critic and you do this, a teenage usher gets to beat the shit out of you.

This is a story I've been wanting to see on the big screen for a long time. This concept art is better than I could have imagined. One day?

How do we feel about film critics posing for pictures with filmmakers (directors, actors, etc.)?

This aesthetic sounds similar to how set photos of Superman (2025) look.

I think that is very telling of the conflict in our country. I wonder if the themes of each story will speak to that.

Yesterday was surreal. I was at
Sundance for a film I worked on.

I couldn't be prouder of Ghostlight nor happier to be part of the amazing cast and crew that made it happen. And thank you to all the people who have shared such kind words.

Be on the lookout for it.
