It does an alright job upscaling everything to 720p, but that 720p output will cause even more latency on top of the emulator depending on the TV you're connecting it to. It's not a bad device for people just getting into Retro gaming, but it's mostly a downgrade from original hardware.

So one specific case for one of the Analogue systems is "always the same thing"? Sometimes I forget how dramatic so many retro game nerds are.

It doesn't play N64 games if that's what you're interested in it for. I'd stick to original hardware if you already have it. Its just an Android emulator box and the latency isn't bad for RPGs, but for platformers it can be rough.

I don't have any respect for the ghouls who are cheering on what ICE is doing, but I somehow have even less respect for the grifting, empty shells of human beings like Ben who made their money getting us to this point and then backing off only when realizing it might hurt them financially.

Potentially the most famous male player of all time recently discussed the unwanted physical contact he receives at events and that it might make him stick to online tournaments. Granted there are parasocial factors at play there, but I can't imagine it's better for women.

I'm not a fan of the constant stream of UB content, but bigger for me is the way Commander IS the game now. Most 60 card, 1v1 formats just don't fire at any of the shops in my area. It's part of why Riftbound is so appealing to me right now.

...sort of. In-universe sets are only half of the sets released, and half of those increasingly feel like Fortnite versions of Magic itself. Names and faces you recognize, but in a wacky setting wearing costumes.

The $30 dollars in hour in "pay and benefits" seems to be a sneaky little line in there to make Starbucks pay sound better than it is. Anyone know what the actual hourly pay is like and what benefits are being used to inflate that number?

Maybe it's an age difference thing? Watching the color pie become increasingly irrelevant and give every color access to mana, cards, and removal makes the potential hybrid mana change feel almost meaningless by comparison.

If a couple hundred mostly irrelevant cards (that are already in the format) becoming accessible to some new decks is what makes you stop playing then you were already 95% of the way there.

Getting a feel for your particular setup is part of the fun. Hotspots and whatnot. I got a smoker last year and poultry was my lesson that "low and slow" doesn't make every meat better. Had some pretty tough turkey last thanksgiving. :p Best of luck with the next one!

Tough skin might mean too low of a temp/too long of a cook time. My first things to try would be cooking at a higher temp or hitting it with a broil in the oven for the last bit to make sure all the fat in the skin renders out.

I would think IVF information and videos concerning injections might be helpful and easy to find if you're injecting estrace.
