Those people are on their own to fend for themselves and if they lose it'll be implied that it was their fault that maybe they should have taken personal responsibility or conformed to what the system wanted to be both financially speaking and socially speaking.

Its only problem with capitalism is it not being a part of its wealth owning class and not the structure of it. So it doesn't really ultimately care for those who fall outside of it or who do not wish to be a part of it.

Also to me this is just more proof of black capitalism and black excellence will not save us but ultimately lead us to drown in its waters. Because it doesn't ultimately hold a critique of capitalism just the faces within it.

Also part of the problem is how rich black people perpetuated this too through music through holding him up as the ultimate businessman and therefore something worthy to aspire to.

But the term "working class always gets framed from this identity neutral space as if you were talking about class all day that desire comes from a theoretically serious space and that identity comes from a more theoretically frivolous one.

Like, and I often feel that it is weird when people frame "identity politics" as something that only affects "elites" or "people on college campuses" when people of any marginalization are usually part of the "working class"

To me, it always feels a stand in for saying slurs like a societally polite way of them without saying them. Especially when it comes to marginalized people who like it's important to center that marginalization in their politics
