A legal scholar talks about 10 laws he says are 'ruining America', an interview with the author of the new book "Bad Law" on NPR's "Fresh Air".

Fascinating, worthwhile read and/or listen. Very good points to ponder. I tend to agree with the author on most points.

A legal scholar talks about 10 laws he says are 'ruining America'
In Bad Law, Elie Mystal argues that our country's laws on immigration, abortion and voting rights don't reflect the will of most Americans, and we'd be better off abolishing them and starting over.

If it references female, black, Hispanic, or Native American heroes, it's tagged as "DEI" and blocked.

Some websites on retired Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, the Air Force's first female fighter pilot, and the World War II-era WASPs have been pulled offline.

Clearest proof yet that the Trump admin uses "DEI" to mean "nonwhite people doing something impressive and getting credit."

Navajo Code Talkers made a big difference in WWII. The Axis had more trouble translating their language than cracking codes. And it's not like the Navajo owed the US anything.

Snopes found that on the whole, the list was inaccurate and unreliable. Many of the companies on the list did primarily support Republican candidates and causes, while others did not.

Good and thorough analysis. Too many claims thrown about from various political backgrounds are suspect.
Breaking down list alleging companies like McDonald's and Walmart donated to Trump
While FEC records confirm some companies on the list donated to Trump, the list itself isn't trustworthy.

Dear Dems. This is a reminder that Donald Trump rescinded the ethics rules preventing gifts to executive branch employees.

Now would be a good time to propose legislation formalizing the prevention into a law

4.2: "The Employee Response Data is explicitly voluntary"

Read that again.

No response is required and this explicitly states that they aren't collecting data that isn't explicitly and voluntarily provided.

In short, ignored ignore the MAGAt DOGEr.
Hilarious. After the DOGErs set up the new government-wide all employee email system in late January OPM, where it is housed, sent out an advisory which states explicitly that no employee ever has to respond to any of the emails. See 4.2 and 4.3. www.opm.gov/media/kfpozk...
