I didn’t realize Totoro was from the 80s! I guess I always assumed it was 90s. The animation is so good!

Standalone. I tend to prefer a nice, neat, wrapped-up story these days. I notice this most with anime. My son loves the sprawling 100+ episode stuff and I find myself loving a nice 6 episode series.

It was fun to read through these! It would be hard to argue against most of your points, except maybe the steak blasphemy :)
