Did you guys know that I had an idea for an Enterprise RPG that I considered making in RPG Maker?
I could probably throw out the IP and make it work, but the NX-01 jumpsuit sprite files shall live in my PC forever. 😌

I'm so excited for the Okinawa-class starship to show up in #STO very soon. I've been picking away at a fanfic set aboard an Okinawa-class ship for a while, so I thought it'd be fun to throw together a little render with an excerpt.

Starfleet Chief Petty Officer Jason Cruz frowned at the ill omen as he listened to the ship’s captain enthusiastically address her crew over the ship’s main public address circuit. Cruz looked over at the young woman to his left and rolled his eyes. She didn’t dare speak over the captain’s address, but Cruz smirked at her obvious confusion. It was her first time. “…been told by COM-KCOM himself how impressed they were with the Alameda’s performance these past few months…” the Captain went on, her crisp alto tinged with an affable New Zealander lilt. “Here it comes,” Cruz muttered under his breath before shoving a chunk of reconstituted steak into his mouth. He sighed a bit in spite of himself, eagerly chewing the attempted delicacy and letting the salt, butter, and umami provide an involuntary boost to his mood. It’s a classic for a reason, he thought. The mood of the crew mess immediately and subtly shifted as a few undisciplined groans mixed with leans, sighs, and shuffles. Cruz looked up from his plate, annoyed that he had missed the moment of the shoe dropping. “...I know all of us were looking forward to the end of this deployment. But I also know that we’re the best damn frigate in the fleet and we’ll keep making a difference out here as long as duty requires…” The Captain paused for effect. She was young for a CO, a Lieutenant Commander by rank, but already an intuitive and respected leader. “…and with the Alameda on the frontier, pirates and Klinks alike will think twice before starting trouble that we will have to finish.”
