Trying to find solace during this difficult time. My spirit is restored by nature. Here’s a few of my nature-inspired photo montages to share with my online community. I may not post often, but know that I always admire and am uplifted by your photography, paintings, poetry and thoughtful musings.

Mist o’er the marsh…to me, this is the personification of the uncertain future before us—especially here in America. We need a soothsayer right now. If I looked at the magic 8-ball I had as a child it would say, “Reply hazy, try again.” How I wish there were some way to lift the fog. Soon, please.

Set a spell with me and let your thoughts wander to a time when life was gentler and blessedly normal. We all need time to draw the arrow back before we can let it fly. 🏹

My article, “Art Appreciation,”was published in the Sunday, Feb. 16th Chicago Tribune! I wrote the article and designed the section, too. Some good news that I really needed. It’s the third story I’ve written for the Tribune in the past year, and I have another one scheduled for June.

“Nothing but blue skies from now on…” 🎼 💙 How I wish that were true. But another storm is approaching. Gather your blue sky memories to remember better times. We will persevere.

The full “Snow Moon” tonight is wreathed in mystery. We are expecting a huge snowstorm tomorrow here in the Midwest tomorrow so the name is apt.

Happy Imbolc, or St. Brigid’s day. We are halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

The artwork is a photo montage that I created from my original photographs.
