Butterscotch pie is my favorite! But I can’t not have a bit of pumpkin pie too for Thanksgiving — and just learned it was popularized in the Civil War era as the fruits of small farmers not plantations.

One of my favorite days in Yellowstone was spent looking at butterflies. Another day was devoted to tadpoles. The small creatures can be just as fascinating if you pay attention.
