So: Russia flatly rejected one Trump envoy (Kellogg), made the next one (Witkoff) wait for eight hours, rejected the ceasefire, and instructed Trump that his job is to give Russia what it wants. That’s what Trump means by "respect" I guess.

It strikes me that the republicans are good at acting as a united group. It makes me sad that Dems didn't seize this opportunity to do the same. Vote yes. Vote no. They are both bad choices. But what is really lost is the real power, in this unprecedented time, to hold hands and face it together.
