Pretty much. Our ability, as a species, to adapt to an extreme as the new normal will be the death of us.

Yet another reason on a long list of reasons to boycott Amazon or at least avoid using it as much as possible (it's more difficult to avoid it completely in remote, rural Canada, but still doable).

Our reliance on US tech in government and business, social media, and entertainment is becoming increasingly problematic. We need to find alternatives.

Ottawa is lucky to have you!

I'm surprised he's even bothering to campaign. It really is the safest Con riding in the country. Also, might as well get the residents used to having an MP that takes them for granted from the get-go.

Other Canadians' desire to see Alberta leave Canada may also be approaching an all-time high, as we lose patience with all the dramatics and victimhood from a province with one of the youngest populations in the country, highest median household incomes, and lowest tax rates.

WTAF?!

Given the quality of the offerings, I'd put "food" in quotation marks too.

They go for the theme park experience, I guess?! I don't get it either.

Unfortunately, I have a couple of co-workers who recently took their families to Florida. I gave them side-eye. Even if they don't care about threats to Canadian sovereignty, they should care about their families' safety. The US is a super sketchy travel destination right now.

I believe the best description of this phenomenon is "sh*t-eating grin."

We absolutely need to keep fighting, but it's pretty discouraging sometimes. It's become clear to me that many of the people who claim that they want climate action only want it if they don't personally have to make any lifestyle changes, endure any inconvenience, or bear any perceived cost.

I'm surprised it took that long...

And they'll vote for it again and again and again...

But it's all the federal government's fault! *sarcasm*

7% a crisis? Is there any time these people aren't having hysterics? They should come to Atlantic Canada.

Alberta and the UCP on brand, as usual.

It's probably already contaminated, but still...

They want to make sure that other people's kids are as ignorant as their own.

PP sure lives in a really really dark right-wing fantasy world. And he's got no understanding of the current and future demographic challenges we face in Canada. Having someone in power who is so mired in dark fantasy, as well as unbelievably and willfully ignorant, would be a disaster.

The cognitive dissonance required to advance slashing environmental protections and increasing O&G production while the country is literally on fire and thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes is immense. It's one reason I can't take the CPC seriously. Complete denial of reality.

The rest of the planet would like to have a chat with this entitled dullard.
