Back in my day when the rain didn't show for a while the lawn got a little brown. If it got bad enough we got out the hose and set up a sprinkler for a few hours. Did that a few times a week if need be.

Im curious how the masked federal agents phenomenon squares with the right to bear arms and self defense?
If someone shoots a masked person with a gun pulling them out of a car, are they (in theory) legally liable when that person turns out to be one of trumps vigilante terrorists?

Even if Israel Premier-Tech were kicked out of #LaVuelta25, it would still be justified to protest it. The problem is not one team's sponsor - it's that we can live completely normal lives of sports, cute insta pics and all the rest while a genocide is being committed with our implicit support.

I was conflicted about the efficacy of the protests for Palestine at #LaVuelta25. Forcing the race to cancel a stage risks turning many against you.
But the point of protest is to disrupt normality, and what better thing to disrupt than a frivolous bike race that millions are watching?

Pidcock says bike racing "has nothing to do with..." and he was understandably emotional in that interview but we do not ride bikes, or do anything, in isolation.

I don’t really understand why the US can’t force all companies operating in the US to cease all operations and sales in Russia? You could basically cut the country off from every digital service, or the internet at a whole. Not to mention the fact that you can still buy western made goods there
