Yes. I am right. I am seeing how Chat GPT is ruining students critical thinking and writing skills in real time. It is not the future. It is a tool designed to render the populace helpless, to make people doubt their innate intelligence, and to foster overreliance on technology.
@roxanegay.bsky.social maybe you’re right.

Remarkable.

Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.

Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.

Then, two officers visited him at his home, accusing him of "obstructing an ongoing immigration investigation"

When I wrote my camps book, people sometimes had difficulty understanding how concentration-camp regimes were proud of what they were doing and wanted attention for it, even as they also hoped to keep many aspects secret and terrorize vulnerable classes. Anyway, this is what that looks like.

This is where I am at-- ultimately a humanist/internationalist.

But caring about humans regardless of creed, sex/gender orientation, color, national origin, religion and race is radical, apparently.
I'm landing (or have been force-landed) at a place where I don't see this as a left-right binary or even a continuum. It's about whether you care about humanity or not. Are other people real to you, or are they mere abstractions? Do you commit to deadening your heart or to keeping it fully alive?
