So a new film opens with the ending of No Time To Die. Cut to Q wandering down into a vault and opening up a crate. It contains a new Bond played by a new actor. Q activates it and asks its name. It replies "Bond. James Bond."

Arrived to an empty building for work today. Nobody told me that Veterans day is now observed by the University and I didn't hear it on my own. So....well, fuck.

Vale, Tatsuya Nakadai. One of the titans of cinema. My own favorite of his performances is as the yakuza bum in Kill! with his constant critique of the bushido code: "You see what samurai are like?" Talk about biting the hand that feds him.

Netflix paid Wrightson's widow for the rights to reference his work. He's credited in the end credits. Not everything in there is 100% Wrightson, but his influence is in there. Check out the pics in this post. It's a beautiful film that any Frankenstein fan will love.

So, I'm on my blogging bullshit again, with a look at T-Blockers for the October Horror movie challenge and for Aaron Christensen's Scare-A-Thon in support of the International Rescue Committee. This had a fast turnaround because I had a bug up my butt about it. Blame (waves arms around) all this.
