I feel exactly what you’re saying. Depression doesn’t care about circumstances—it’s not always tied to external things. People don’t realize it’s a battle with your own brain chemistry, not just your mindset. It’s real and valid, no matter what life looks like from the outside.

I felt those words deeply—they stayed with me for a long time. But recently, I’ve come to embrace who I am, autism and all. Autistic people are some of the kindest and most genuine souls in the world. People on the spectrum deserve nothing but respect and understanding!
